Sandeepani College

We are based out of the ESIC staff quarters area in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a college, being in the quarters, but it works for us. We have classrooms set up where we take in students for their studies. The building is older, with high ceilings and heavy doors. You’ll usually see students hanging around the entrance between their classes, chatting or looking at their phones. We try to keep things organized, but like any school, it can get a bit chaotic when exams are coming up. Our desks are the sturdy wooden kind that have been around for years. The teachers here are mostly locals who have a lot of experience. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, so most people just bring their own tiffins or go to the little stalls nearby. It’s a very grounded place. We don't spend money on shiny brochures or big advertisements. We just focus on making sure the students understand their lessons. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when people are trying to study. It feels more like a community center than a big institution. We just do our bit to help the kids get their degrees and move on to whatever is next for them. It is a slow and steady process, and we see new faces every year as students come and go.
