Sam Bros Tex Global L.

Our shop and office are at 126, Sastri Road in Ramnagar. It’s a pretty standard street and our building fits right in with the others. We deal with textiles, so there are usually samples of fabric and rolls of cloth sitting around. At Sam Bros Tex Global L., we don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a working space where we sort through materials and talk to our suppliers. The lighting is a bit bright and fluorescent, and there’s always a faint smell of new fabric in the air. We’re a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s moving a heavy roll or sitting down to do the accounts. We don’t have any marketing people or slick presentations to show off. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a while and people know we do what we say we’re going to do. Sometimes the floor gets covered in bits of thread and lint, so we have to sweep up a couple of times a day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to chat. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, and we don’t feel the need to act like some big corporation. We’re just local folks working with textiles and trying to keep everything organized.
