You’ll find Salona Cotspin Ltd. at number 9, Ramalinga Nagar. We’re on the fourth cross in Saibaba Colony. It’s a fairly quiet residential area that’s been seeing more small businesses lately. Our office is in a converted building that feels a lot like a regular house. We have a small yard out front where some of us park our bikes during the day. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed. We deal with cotton and spinning, so there’s always a bit of lint in the air, no matter how much we try to clean it up. The rooms are filled with samples and old records. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the neighbors all know us by name now. It’s a comfortable place to work. Saibaba Colony has some good spots for tea and snacks, so we often step out for a short break. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of people who know the business inside out. Most of our work involves coordinating with the mills and making sure the quality is where it should be. It’s not very exciting, but it’s what we do. The building gets a lot of sunlight in the afternoons, which is nice. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you ring the bell, one of us will just come to the door.
