Safire Scientific Co.

Our place, Safire Scientific Co., is located at 93-A on Megricar Road. Being in R.S. Puram, we are right in the middle of a lot of activity. The building is an older one, but it works for what we do. We mostly stock scientific instruments and various lab supplies that people in this part of Coimbatore need. It’s a straightforward business. Opening the shutters and going through the orders from the day before is how the morning starts. Shelves are packed with glassware and some electronic testing tools. Don’t expect a shiny showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a working warehouse where we spend most of our time packing boxes. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually end up during the afternoon break. Talking to local students and lab techs who stop by to pick things up in person is common. Megricar Road can get pretty crowded with bikes and cars, so we try to get our loading done early in the morning. Our small group all pitches in with the cleaning and the inventory. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but finding things isn't usually an issue. It’s just a regular local shop. A big fancy office isn't something we have or need. Focus stays on getting the right instruments to the people who ask for them. It’s been our routine for years and it works fine. We just handle the tools and keep the books as best we can.
