Sabari Machine Works,Coimbatore.

We are located at Number 60 in Kannamanickanur, which is over in the Udumalpet area of Coimbatore. Sabari Machine Works is basically a workshop where we spend our days fixing and building machinery. Coimbatore is known for this kind of work, and we are just one of the many shops around here. It’s a dusty place because of all the grinding and metalwork. We have a few lathes and some old tools that have been with us since we started. There is always a smell of oil and cut metal in the air. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Usually, people just drop by with a broken part or a drawing of something they need made. We sit down on a bench, have some tea, and talk about how to fix it. My brother helps with the welding and I handle the customer stuff. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job for a farmer who needs his pump working again. It’s not glamorous at all. The floor needs a good sweep every night. We just like making things that work. It’s a practical life. We know most of our customers by name because they live just down the road or in the next village. We just keep the machines running and try to do right by the folks who come in. There’s a lot of noise, but we’re used to it by now.
