S V Minerals

Our place is at 8, Rajmatha Nagar, over in the 4th area of Palayakkadu. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like it back here. S V Minerals is mostly about moving raw materials and dealing with the logistics of it all. The yard can get pretty dusty when the weather is dry, and we’re always cleaning off the desks. There are a few of us who have been here since the start. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us answering the phones and making sure the loads get where they need to go. We see the same truck drivers every week and usually share a bit of news with them. The office is small and the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. Sometimes things get delayed or a truck breaks down, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for what we do. We’ve got a lot of rocks and mineral samples sitting around on the shelves collecting dust. Most days we are just busy with the basic stuff, checking weights and talking to the site guys. We don’t do anything flashy. It is just a regular local business trying to stay busy and keep the orders moving along. Sometimes the rain slows everything down and we just wait it out until the trucks can move again.
