S & T Workshop

We've been here at S & T Workshop for a while now. You can find us on Muthanmai Salai, right near the Podanur Railway Station. It's a busy spot with trains coming and going all day. Most mornings start with a quick tea before we get the machines running. We do a lot of work here, mostly stuff that people need for their shops or homes. It gets loud sometimes, especially when the heavy work starts, but we’re used to it. The station being so close makes it easy for folks to find us, though the traffic on Muthanmai Salai can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We aren't a big fancy operation. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere and we have to spend half the afternoon just cleaning up the floor. We try to keep things organized, but in a workshop, that’s easier said than done. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we all know how things work. There’s no big office or anything, just the workspace and a small area where we keep the tools. If you're walking from the station, you'll see our sign. We usually stay open until the sun goes down or until the last job is finished for the day. It's just regular work for regular people, nothing more than that. We just focus on getting things done right here in Podanur.
