Dipak Sports

We've been at No. 20 West Arokiasamy Road in RS Puram for a while now. It's right across from Sasthri Ground, which is handy because people come over after playing. I spend most of my mornings checking the gear we have in stock. Some days are busier than others, especially when school kids come in looking for cricket bats or footballs. The shop isn't huge, but we try to keep it organized enough to find stuff. RS Puram is a busy area, so there is always someone walking by or looking in the window. Sometimes the door sticks when it gets humid, but we manage. We handle things like fixing rackets and helping people find the right size shoes. It gets dusty pretty fast with the road right there, so cleaning the shelves is a constant job. My uncle started this place, and I just sort of took over the daily stuff. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, just the shop and the stuff on the shelves. Sometimes people come in just to chat about the local matches. It is a decent way to spend the day. I usually lock up around eight. If you are looking for Dipak Sports, look for the big sign opposite the ground. We try to keep things simple and just focus on what people actually need for their weekend games. It is nothing too complicated, just a regular sports shop in the neighborhood.
