We are located in the R. K. H. Industrial Estate over by the Ganapathy Post. Roots Precision Products Pvt Ltd is basically just a big floor filled with machines and people who know how to run them. We spend our time making parts that have to be exactly the right size, which is why things can get a bit serious on the factory floor. There isn't much room for error when you are doing this kind of work. The industrial estate is a busy place with trucks coming and going all hours of the day. Inside our building, it smells like coolant and shaved metal. We have a small area where we keep the drawings and the paperwork, but most of the action happens out where the machines are. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most people who need what we make already know we are here in the Ganapathy Post area. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking gauges and making sure the finish is smooth. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the shop, and then it is back to the noise. It’s not the most glamorous job, but there is something satisfying about seeing a bin full of finished parts at the end of a long shift. We've been here for a while and the routine doesn't change much from one month to the next.
