If you are trying to find us, we are at Annamalai Nagar in Sowripalayam. The address is a bit confusing because it’s Old No 27 but also New No 10, so sometimes the delivery drivers get a little lost on the way. We’ve been at this Reliance Communications Ltd branch for a while now. Coimbatore is a busy place, but this pocket of Sowripalayam feels a bit more like a community. The office itself is nothing special to look at. We have some plastic chairs for guests and a big wooden table where we do most of the sorting. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the daily logs and making sure the equipment is working. It’s a lot of routine stuff. During lunch, we usually go to the place around the corner for some rice and curry. The fans overhead hum all day long to keep the air moving. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the door propped open with a brick. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up and do what they need to do. No one wears suits here. We just wear what is comfortable for the weather and get on with the business. It works for us. Even when things get hectic, we just keep pushing through until the evening rolls around.
