Our office is tucked away on the first floor over in Bharathi Colony. If you know Peelamadu at all, you know how busy 2nd Street can get around midday. We have been running Regent Biochem India Pvt Ltd from this same spot for a good while. It is just a simple place with desks and some filing cabinets that probably need organizing. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and looking at order forms for various biochemical items. It isn't the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The fans hum all day to keep the heat down. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door so people know they found the right number 6. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost because the streets here all look a bit similar, but eventually, they find us. We know our neighbors well, like the family that lives downstairs and the shop on the corner. Working in a residential colony like this is quiet compared to the main road. We just do our paperwork, answer the phone when it rings, and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules. It's a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it's making coffee or checking the inventory lists. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent business and get things done for the customers who rely on us.
