Ramaraj Exports

Ramaraj Exports is over on 191-a Rettivalasu Road in Vellakovil. This part of town is usually quite busy with trucks and people moving things around. We have been operating from this spot for some time now and the building has seen better days, but it works for what we need. Dealing with exports means there is always a lot of paperwork and boxes sitting around everywhere. The sun gets really hot on Rettivalasu Road in the middle of the day, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning or late in the evening. There isn't much shade around here. Our office is just a simple room with a few desks and a lot of files. We don't really have a fancy reception area or anything because most of our work happens over the phone or out in the back where the goods are packed. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out, chatting with the workers outside. It's a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We just focus on getting things sent out to where they need to go. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get delayed, but that’s just part of the job. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks in it where the heavy crates have been dropped over the years. We keep a radio on most days just to have some background noise while we work. We know most of the drivers who come through here.
