Ramani Auto Agencies is based at No. 2/2, Birds Road. It’s a simple building and we’ve been here for quite a few years now. Birds Road is a familiar place for us. We spend most of our time surrounded by auto parts and various supplies. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have what people usually need. It’s mostly just shelves and a small counter where we talk to people who come in. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a lot of customers come in at once, but we manage. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to run the place. We just keep our own records and try to remember where we put the latest shipment of stock. Working here means dealing with a lot of dust and grease, but that's just part of the job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. It’s a working shop. We open up in the morning and stay until things settle down in the evening. Most of the people who come by are from the neighborhood or nearby areas. They know us as the place on Birds Road with the stack of tires or the crates of parts near the door. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a humble business and we like it that way. No big speeches or complicated stuff, just auto parts and daily work in the same spot.
