Universal Biopolymers

Universal Biopolymers is over at No. 20 B, Bharathi Nagar 2nd Street in Ramanathapuram. It’s a bit of an industrial corner, but it’s where we feel at home. We’ve been working with biopolymers for a while, and this location has served us well. The street isn't very wide, so when the big trucks come in, everything else has to stop for a minute. We’re used to it by now. The office is really just a part of the warehouse where we keep our records and take calls. It’s usually got that specific smell of materials and old paper. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or expensive furniture. We’d rather spend that money on our equipment. The crew here is small, just a handful of us who’ve figured out how to work together without getting in each other's way. Ramanathapuram is a good place for this kind of thing. There’s a lot of activity, and you’re never too far from what you need. We eat our lunch together most days, usually talking about the work or what’s happening in the news. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just have goals for the day and we try our best to meet them. It’s steady, quiet work for the most part. We like the independence of being our own bosses and running things our way. It’s a job that keeps our hands busy and our minds focused.
