The Coral Reef Cottons

You can find us over at No. 444 on Trichy Road. Ramanathapuram is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the buses and bikes going past our door. The Coral Reef Cottons is essentially just a local spot where we deal with all our cotton goods day in and day out. We’ve got shelves filled with stock, and it gets a bit dusty because of the main road right outside, but that’s just how it is here. Most days start with us unlocking the front and checking what came in. Trichy Road never really sleeps, so there’s always something happening right outside the window. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique. We just have our space, our fabrics, and the daily chores that come with running a place in Ramanathapuram. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern, but it stays cool enough when the sun is hitting the pavement hard outside. If you’re walking down from the main junction, you’ll see us soon enough. We spend a lot of time just organizing things and talking to the people who drop by. It’s an honest way to spend the day. The floors are a bit worn from people coming in, but we like it that way. It feels like a real place where work actually happens every single day.
