Silver Crown Metal Coatings

Our place, Silver Crown Metal Coatings, is over at 36 Rajammal Lay Out, just off Cross Cut Road in Coimbatore. It’s a busy part of town, and we are right there in the thick of the local industry. Coating metal is a messy business, so the workshop is never going to look like a showroom. We have tanks and racks and pieces of metal waiting for their turn to be treated. The air usually smells a bit like chemicals and heat, which is just part of the job when you’re doing metalwork. We spend most of our time checking the finish on the parts and making sure everything is coated evenly. It’s the kind of work where your clothes are going to get stained eventually. We have a small group of guys here who really understand how the different metals react. We don’t do much advertising; people mostly find us because they need their parts done and they know we are here on Rajammal Lay Out. Sometimes the traffic on Cross Cut Road makes it a pain to get deliveries out on time, but we do our best to stay on schedule. It’s a practical, no-nonsense workshop. We just focus on the metal in front of us and try to get it out the door so we can start on the next batch of work waiting in the corner. The days are long and sweaty, but the finished parts always look good.
