Being over here in R S Puram on D B Road, things stay pretty lively all day long. We are tucked into the M S Complex, specifically at 564. It’s a good spot because everyone knows this part of town. If you spend enough time here, you get used to the rhythm of the shoppers and the cars moving outside. Inside the eye clinic, it is mostly about the routine. We have our equipment and the chairs set up just so. It’s not a corporate office with shiny glass everywhere, just a practical place for eyes. People come in, they sit for a bit, and we do what needs doing. The complex itself has a lot going on, so there is always someone moving about in the hallways. We keep things pretty straightforward. There isn’t much to say about the decor because we focused more on making sure there is enough light for the exams. Working on D B Road means you are never really in a quiet bubble, but we like the energy. Some of our staff have been here for years, so we know where every file is kept. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We open up early, get the lights on, and wait for the first person to show up. It’s a lot of sitting and checking, then some more sitting. That is how it goes at 564 D B Road. It is just a regular place for regular people.
