If you head down Sathy Road, you'll find us at number 110 in the R.K. Samy Building. It’s a busy stretch of road and finding parking for a tractor can be a real pain some days. Rajalakshmi Tractor & Trailer Parts has been in this building for quite a while now. The shelves are mostly filled with heavy metal parts and those big tires that take up way too much space. It smells like rubber and oil in here, which I guess is normal for a place like this. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or searching the back room for that one specific bolt someone needs. It’s noisy because of the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week. Most of our customers are farmers or drivers who are in a hurry to get back on the road. We don't have a fancy waiting area. People usually just stand around and talk while we find what they need. The R.K. Samy Building is an old one, so the walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in the corners. It doesn't bother us. We are more focused on the inventory and making sure the counts are right. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, open the shutters, and see who comes in. Sathy Road never really gets quiet until very late at night.
