Raj Cap Centre

Raj Cap Centre is situated in the Bapna Complex on Thomas Street. It’s a pretty central spot, so we get a lot of foot traffic passing by the windows every single day. Inside the shop, it’s mostly rows of shelves filled with all different kinds of headwear for different people. We’ve got stacks of boxes everywhere, sometimes reaching all the way up to the ceiling in the back room. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we’re trying to find a specific style or size that someone asked for. Thomas Street is always buzzing with activity, and we spend a good portion of our day just chatting with customers or the various vendors who drop by to deliver new goods. We don't have a big corporate team or anything; it’s just a few of us making sure the stock stays full and the shop stays open for whoever walks in. The lighting isn't the best in some of the back corners, but we’ve been here long enough to know where everything is. Some days are packed with people trying things on and looking in the mirrors, and other days we just spend our time re-folding things and cleaning the glass displays. It’s a simple retail life, really. We’ve been in the Bapna Complex for quite a while now, so we’ve seen a lot of other shops come and go around us. We just focus on our own little space and try to keep things organized. It’s not anything fancy, just a place to get a cap if you need one. We’re usually here from morning until late evening.
