R.V. Machine Tools

Over at R.V. Machine Tools, we are located in the Jaganathan Industrial Estate on Athipalayam Road. The specific spot is S.F.No: 18/2B in Chinnavedampatti. It’s a proper industrial area, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or engines running somewhere nearby. Our shop floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, which is pretty much expected in this line of work. We spend our hours around the machines, making sure everything is running the way it should. It’s not a clean job, but we like the mechanical side of things. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, and the trucks have a hard time turning around sometimes. We usually keep the big sliding doors open to get some air in while we work. Most people who come by are looking for specific parts or need something fixed up. We don’t do much talking; we just get to the work at hand. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch from the small stall down the road and get right back to the machines. It’s a steady pace here in Chinnavedampatti. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the estate. It’s just us, the tools, and the daily tasks that need finishing before the sun goes down. The machines are old but reliable, and we know their quirks better than anything else. We’ve been at this estate for a long time.
