Precot Meridian Limited

This part of Pollachi is pretty quiet, especially out here on Topslip Road. Precot Meridian Limited has been operating in Sethumadai for years. It's mostly about the machinery and the yarn around here. We spend a lot of time watching the spindles turn and making sure the quality is what it should be. The air usually smells a bit like raw cotton. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep things grounded. Sethumadai is a nice place to work, even if it feels a bit tucked away from the main town center. We get the trucks in, unload the raw stuff, and then it’s all about the process. Some days the machines act up, and we have to spend hours getting things back on track. That’s just how it goes in a mill. People from the nearby villages come in for their shifts, and we’ve all become quite a tight group over the seasons. We don't really have a big sales team doing fancy pitches. We just focus on the thread. The weather in Pollachi can be unpredictable, but the work inside stays the same. Most of us have been here long enough that we could do the job with our eyes shut, though we obviously don't. It's just steady work, keeping the production moving and making sure the orders are packed up for whoever is waiting for them.
