We’ve been here at 60B/8B in Venkatasamy Nagar for quite a while now. Most people know us around Athipalayam Road. It’s a busy spot in Ganapathy. We mostly deal with making small metal parts and components. It’s noisy work. The machines run pretty much all day. We started out small and just kept going. Our team is local, mostly folks from around Coimbatore. We don't have a fancy office or anything. It's just a workshop floor with a lot of grease and metal scraps. Sometimes the power goes out, but we manage. People come to us when they need specific parts made to a certain size. We just follow the drawings given to us. It's straightforward work. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the lathes and milling machines. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take breaks. It's just a regular place doing regular engineering stuff. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New buildings coming up and traffic getting heavier on the main road. But we’re still here in our same spot. We keep the machines oiled and try to get the orders done by the time the truck arrives. Nothing too complicated about it. We just make sure the pieces fit what they are supposed to. It’s what we know how to do. We have a few guys who have been here since the beginning. They know the sounds of the machines better than anything else.
