We are based at 60-B Venkataswamy Nagar on Athipalayam Road, over in the Ganapathy area. It is a busy part of town with a lot of small shops and houses mixed together. Precicraft Components India Pvt Ltd is where we spend most of our waking hours. The building is simple and we keep the machines running pretty much throughout the day. We make small parts that go into bigger things. It is the kind of work where you have to pay attention or you mess up the whole batch. Most of us here have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and you'll see us at the benches or checking the lathes. The road outside can get pretty jammed up when the schools let out, but inside we just keep to our routine. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and the tiffin boxes. Sometimes it gets loud with all the metal hitting metal, but you get used to the rhythm of it. We are just a group of people who know how to handle tools and read drawings. We have been doing this for years and the machines feel like old friends now. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay organized.
