Star Lubricants

We are located at No. 15/8 in the L. I. G. Colony, right on the Udumalpet Road in Pollachi. Star Lubricants is basically a warehouse and a small front office filled with heavy drums and plastic cans. The smell of oil is something you never really get out of your clothes once you work here. It is a simple place where we spend our time moving stock around and talking to drivers. The Pollachi heat can be quite something in the middle of the day, so we usually keep the fans running at full speed. Our shelves are packed with different grades of oil and grease for all kinds of engines. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know we are just past the main part of the colony. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big sales team. It’s just us and the inventory. Sometimes the delivery lorries make a mess of the front entrance when they drop off new barrels, and we have to spend an hour clearing the path. The floor always has a few dark spots from spills, but that is expected in this line of work. We just open up, do the lifting, and go home when the sun sets. It is a steady way to make a living, and we know our way around these cans pretty well.
