Our place, Mano Stampings, is situated at No. 520/3 in Kembanaicken Palayam, over in Pogulur. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where we have the space we need for our stamping machines. The machines are loud and they take up most of the room. We’ve been operating in Pogulur for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the locals pretty well. It’s a straightforward business. We take sheets of metal and turn them into whatever parts are needed. There’s a lot of noise and a lot of scrap metal, but that’s how stamping goes. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anyone in a suit. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes handling the orders. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine needs a bit of tinkering, but we manage. We aren't into big corporate talk. We just tell you what we can do and when it’ll be ready. The area of Kembanaicken Palayam is quiet compared to the city, which we appreciate after a long day of loud machinery. We’ve stayed here because it suits us. It’s a no-frills kind of life. We just focus on the stamps and making sure the parts are right before they go out the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Most of the time we are just focused on getting the next order finished.
