Apoorva Printing Inks

Our workshop for Apoorva Printing Inks is down on Chettipalayam Road in Podanur, specifically at Sf 568-A/5 in Seeyon Nagar. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always the smell of ink and chemicals in the air around here. Our hands are usually stained with some color or another by lunch. We don't mind it much. It’s just part of the job. The building is a simple one, nothing too modern or flashy. We have our mixing stations and the storage area for the drums. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running high. We've been operating in Podanur for a long time. The locals know the sound of our shutters opening in the morning. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just take orders over the phone or when people stop by the gate. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on Chettipalayam Road, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the ink we produce is consistent enough for the people who use it. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. Everyone knows their role, and we don't need much supervision. We just get on with it and go home when the work is finished. It’s a messy job but someone has to do it.
