Safa Creation

Safa Creation is tucked away on 2nd Cross Street in Bharathi Nagar, specifically at No 36 C. It's one of those shops where you’ll always find bits of thread on the floor and piles of fabric stacked in the corners. We spend our hours measuring, cutting, and stitching together whatever the customers bring in. Most of the people who visit us live nearby and they usually want something specific for a family function or just a simple repair on a favorite outfit. The sewing machines make a constant humming sound that we don't even notice anymore. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once to pick up their orders. We try to keep things organized with a numbering system, but on busy days, it can get a little chaotic with all the different colors and materials everywhere. We don't do much advertising; people just seem to find us through word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they walk past. It’s a small, family-run kind of feel here. We’ve got a couple of regular tailors who have been with us for a while. It’s hard work on the eyes sometimes, especially when the sun starts to set and we have to rely on the overhead tubes. We just keep at it, one garment at a time, making sure the measurements are as close as they can be before the customer comes for a fitting.
