Pioneer Asia Wind Turbines

Out here in Kethanur, things are a bit quieter than the big cities, but we stay busy with the wind turbine work. Our place is at 1/91 Savadipalayam. If you know the Palladam area, you know it gets quite windy, which is why we are set up here in the Tirupur district. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or looking at the big blades. It is a different kind of job. You have to be okay with being outside in the sun for long hours. My team and I usually start early before the heat gets too bad. We have a lot of parts and tools scattered around the workshop in Kethanur. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly chasing parts that are delayed on some truck. The roads around here are okay, but moving heavy turbine equipment is always a slow process. We aren't some big city firm with shiny suits. Most of us wear work boots and have dirt under our fingernails by lunch. People in the village know us as the turbine guys. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us around the back working on a motor or checking some cables. It’s practical work. We make sure the machines are spinning like they should. It’s just what we do every day to make a living in this part of Tamil Nadu. We like the wind.
