Paruvaa Restaurant

Paruvaa Restaurant is tucked inside the Heritage Inn Hotel on Sivasamy Road in Ram Nagar. It’s not one of those places you’d find unless you were looking for it or staying at the inn. Coimbatore has plenty of big spots to eat, but we’re just a regular place in a quiet corner of the neighborhood. The staff has been here for a good amount of time, and we mostly know what the regulars want before they even sit down. We don’t have a massive menu that takes an hour to read. It's just standard stuff that people like. The lighting is a bit dim, which some people like and some don't, but it makes it quiet for lunch. Sometimes the traffic on Sivasamy Road gets pretty bad, so getting here can be a hassle, but once you’re inside, it’s much calmer. We don't do much advertising or put up big banners. Most of the folks who eat here are just locals or people passing through for work. It’s a simple setup with wooden tables and some paintings on the walls that have been there forever. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s a kitchen and a dining room. We make the food, you eat it, and that’s about the extent of the relationship. It works for us and seems to work for the people who keep coming back year after year without making a big fuss about things.
