Partha Sarathy Industries

Down here at No. 4-B on 4th Street in Nanjappa Nagar, we’ve been running Partha Sarathy Industries for some time. It’s right off the Trichy Road in Singanallur, so it’s a pretty decent location for what we do. The workshop isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside, but we have all our equipment set up the way we like it. Most of the time, the machines are running and there’s a lot of noise, which is expected in this kind of line. We handle various industrial tasks that come our way from local clients. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have big orders to fill. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you usually just walk in and find one of us on the floor working. The area around Singanallur is full of shops like ours, but we’ve carved out our own little space here. We try to keep things organized, though tools tend to end up wherever they were last used. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on decorating or making things look pretty for visitors. If you come by Trichy Road, you'll see the turn-off for 4th Street. That’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don’t talk much about goals or anything, we just focus on the job that is sitting on the bench right now.
