P S G College Of Technology is situated in Peelamedu, right in Coimbatore. We’ve been a part of this landscape for a very long time. If you live in Tamil Nadu, you’ve probably heard of us or know someone who came here. The campus is a busy place, 641004 is the area code. There are always people moving around, carrying books or pieces of equipment. We have a lot of old buildings and some newer ones mixed in. It’s a tech place, so there is always a hum of machines or computers somewhere in the background. We don't really do the whole polished marketing thing. People just know us because of the work the students do in the labs. The staff here are mostly engineers or teachers who have been doing this for decades. We drink a lot of coffee and spend long hours in the workshops. It’s not always pretty; there are grease stains on the floors and piles of scrap metal in the corners. But that is how you learn technology. We are just a local institution that has grown over the years. We see the city of Coimbatore changing all around Peelamedu, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a lot of routine—lectures, practicals, and exams. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide the space and the tools for people to learn how things work. It's a solid place to be for those who like to build.
