Oriental Clearing Agencies

We are located at 1/340 in Ganapathi Nagar, right on 2nd Street in Pooluvapatti. This is in Tirupur, so you can imagine it gets pretty busy around here with all the textile stuff going on. We run the clearing agency from this office. It is not a very big place, just a simple room with some desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork that comes with shipping goods. There is always a lot of back and forth with the customs and the port authorities. My staff and I sit here and make sure the documents are in order so the trucks don't get stuck for no reason. Tirupur is a hot place, and the fan in the office runs all day long. We have been in this spot for a good number of years now. We know the local people and the other businesses on 2nd Street. It is not fancy work, but it is necessary. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and we have to stay late to finish the entries. We don't have any big signs or fancy advertisements outside. Most people just find us because they know where Ganapathi Nagar is. We just focus on getting the clearing work done so our clients can get their cargo moving. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the codes are right. We just do our bit every day and then head home.
