Sri Balaji Textiles

We are located at S. F. No. 219/2 on Nehru Nagar, right on Irugur Road. It’s near the Ondipudur post. This place has been around for a bit. We do textiles. If you walk inside, you’ll see rolls of fabric stacked up high. It smells like cotton and dust in here, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We aren't a big fancy showroom with mirrors and lights. It’s more of a working space where we get things ready to go out. Most of our days are spent checking the weaves and making sure the colors are right. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend a few hours fixing them instead of working. That’s just how it goes with old equipment. We have a small group of people working here. Some have been with us since the beginning. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Usually, people just know where we are or they hear about us from someone else in the trade. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving heavy bolts of cloth. Ondipudur is a good area, it’s got a lot of history with textiles. We are just one small part of that. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the looms running and make sure the cloth is decent. It’s how we spend our time and it keeps us busy every day of the week.
