New Oyster

Our place is in Ondiputhur, specifically in the Nesavalanr Colony area at number 4 Kumaran Nagar. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, so we try not to make too much noise. We started this because we saw a need for certain household goods in this part of town. The building is just a simple house that we converted into a work area. We have shelves lined with stock and a small table where we pack things up. It’s mostly just family working here. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just put a sign out front and wait for neighbors to stop by. Sometimes people come from the other side of Ondiputhur because they heard we had what they were looking for. It’s a small operation, so we know every single item we have in stock. If we don’t have it, we just tell people where else they might find it. We keep fairly regular hours, but sometimes we close early if there’s a family event or something going on in the colony. It’s a low-key way to run a business, and it suits us just fine. We like being part of the local community here in Kumaran Nagar. There is always someone coming by for a quick chat while they are out walking.
