If you find yourself over on Thadagam Road in Coimbatore, you might have seen our building. We are located at No.8, Surya Nivas, right in the Aks Nagar area of Ponniayarajapuram. It is a busy part of town, so finding a parking spot can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. We run a chit fund here. It is just a group of us working in the office every day, keeping track of the books and making sure the monthly collections are right. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of high-tech gadgets. We still use a lot of ledgers and pens because that's how we learned to do it. The office gets a lot of light in the afternoons. Most of our members are local folks from around the neighborhood who have been with us for years. They trust us because we live here too. Sometimes we have tea together while going over the numbers. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Tamil Nadu. We just want to make sure the people who put their money with us feel okay about it. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. It's just a normal job in a normal part of Coimbatore.
