Mantro

Mantro is located over in North Coimbatore on Thiruvengadam Street. We’re at No 52, which is quite close to the Central Theatre. It’s a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We do a bit of everything here, depending on what the day brings. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers keeping things running. The street gets quite packed in the evenings when a movie is letting out, so we usually try to get our big tasks done in the morning. We don't have a big corporate story to tell. We just opened up because we wanted to work for ourselves and serve the local crowd in Coimbatore. There’s always a bit of grease or dust on our hands by the end of the shift. We like the work though. It keeps us busy and we get to talk to all sorts of people. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or fix the equipment. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or slick presentations. We just wear our regular clothes and get to it. The neighbors are good people and we all look out for each other. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been at this address for a while and plan to stay as long as we can.
