Dtdc Courier has been operating out of 64 Avarampalyam Road in New Siddhapudur for quite some time now. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around here, especially during the middle of the day. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we handle all the parcels and letters that people drop off. Most of the guys here have been working in this neighborhood for years, so we know the shortcuts and the regulars who come in every Monday. We spend a lot of our time taped up in boxes and checking addresses on the computer. It’s a lot of manual work, making sure things get where they need to go without getting squashed. Sometimes the internet is slow or the weather makes things difficult, but we just keep at it. New Siddhapudur is a good spot for us because it’s central. You’ll usually see a few of us standing out front during a quick break or moving crates around. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with plants or anything like that. It’s just a place of work where we try to keep things moving. We deal with all sorts of items, from small envelopes to bigger boxes that take two people to lift. It gets a bit loud when the heavy vehicles pass by on the road, but we're used to it. That’s just how it is here.
