Nevin Hitech Machine

Nevin Hitech Machine is located over at 62/6 in the Adhavan Industrial Estate. You have to take Athipalayam Road to get to us here in Chinnavedampatti. The estate is a busy place with a lot of different small shops and units, but we have our own little corner where we keep the machines humming. We do a lot of work involving precision parts, though the shop itself looks like any other working garage. There are piles of metal shavings in the bins and the smell of cooling oil is pretty much everywhere. We don't put on any acts for visitors; they see the work as it is happening. The staff here is small, mostly just a few guys who have been around machines their whole lives. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the drawings or the parts and get to work on the lathes and mills. It’s a lot of standing and checking measurements with calipers. Sometimes things don't go perfectly on the first try, so we have to adjust and start over, which is just part of the process. We stay open pretty late most nights because the work piles up quickly. It is a straightforward business where we focus on the hardware and don't worry about much else.
