Target Garments

Target Garments is situated on Nethaji Street, specifically at No. 8/171 in Street No. 6. This is over in the Udayampalayam area near the Sowripalayam Post. It’s a quiet residential and commercial mix. We spend our days inside this building surrounded by fabric and thread. The street is narrow, so we often see the same neighbors walking their dogs or going to the post office. We don’t have a big sign or anything too bright. We prefer to just do our work and let that be it. The building is older, but it serves its purpose perfectly. Inside, we have a few machines and some tables for cutting and packing. Every morning starts with a quick sweep and then we get right to it. There’s a rhythm to the work that we all like. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting down the street, so we have to go out and help them navigate the turn. It’s just part of the job. We have been in Sowripalayam for quite a while now. Most people around here know us as the place on Street 6. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is just paper and pen. It’s a practical way to run a garment business. We just try to keep things organized and get the orders out on time without making any fuss about it. It is a steady way to live.
