Nesam Clinic De Addiction Centre

This clinic is located at number 54 on Ramamoorthy Road, right in the Selvapuram area. We've been operating out of this building for a good while, helping folks who are going through some really tough times with addiction. It’s not the easiest kind of work to do, but it’s what we’ve chosen to focus on here. The building itself is straightforward and doesn't stand out much from the other houses on the street. We try to keep the atmosphere inside calm because the people coming to see us are often quite stressed out. Selvapuram is a busy neighborhood so there’s always a bit of traffic noise coming from the road outside. We have a small group of staff members who handle the daily tasks, from talking to families to checking on the patients. It’s a lot of sitting down and listening to stories that aren’t always happy. We don't use any big words or complicated processes; we just talk to people like human beings. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough time in the day to get everything done. The office gets a bit cluttered with paperwork sometimes, but we know where everything is. Being on Ramamoorthy Road makes us easy to find for locals. We’re just here doing our bit every day, trying to make things slightly better for the families that walk through our doors.
