Nehru Arts & Science College

Nehru Arts & Science College is a big part of the landscape on Palakkad Road in Kuniamuthur. We are at No. 451-D, and it is a pretty sprawling place once you get inside. Coimbatore is a major city, and being on the Palakkad Road means we are easy to reach for students from all over Tamil Nadu - 641008. We have been here a long time, so the buildings have that solid, slightly weathered look to them. We have both arts and science students, which makes for an interesting mix of people on the campus. The labs are always busy with experiments and the arts side is usually full of talk and debate. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. We are more interested in making sure the library has enough books and the classrooms are ready for the morning sessions. The staff here are hardworking people who have a lot of experience. You will often see them walking between the different blocks or sitting in the canteen having a quick lunch. It is a busy life at Nehru Arts & Science College. There is always an event to plan or exams to grade. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day-to-day operations. It is a community of its own here in Kuniamuthur, and we are quite proud to be a part of it without needing to brag about it.
