You can find us at 175, Sri Sai Towers in Bharathi Colony. We are right there in Peelamedu, upstairs from the Corporation ATM. Being on the upper floor means it’s a little quieter than being right on the street, which is nice. We spend our days mostly looking out the window at the traffic below when we aren't busy with a customer. The salon has a few chairs and mirrors, nothing too over the top. It’s a place where people come to sit for an hour and get away from the heat outside. We keep the floor swept and the towels clean, which is a full-time job in itself. The staff here are just regular people who live nearby. We know most of the people who walk in because they work in the offices around Peelamedu or live in Bharathi Colony. It gets pretty hectic on the weekends when everyone has time off, so we end up staying late quite often. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our customers come in because they saw the sign while using the ATM downstairs. We just try to keep the atmosphere relaxed and do the job right. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. Sometimes the water pressure acts up or a lightbulb goes out, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s just how running a small shop goes.
