National Equipment Company

National Equipment Company sits right at 151-B/1 in the Abbai Naidu Layout. It is a busy little corner on LGB Road here in Ganapathy. Most days, we just keep the doors open and get to work on whatever equipment is sitting on the floor. The layout around here has changed some over the years, but our spot stays the same. People drive by on the way to work and sometimes they stop in to ask about parts or look at what we have in the back. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical space with concrete floors and a few desks for the paperwork. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get in, but that is just how it is in this part of Ganapathy. We have a lot of stuff stacked up in the corners because you never know when someone might need a specific bolt or a piece of heavy machinery fixed. It gets a bit dusty when the wind blows off LGB Road, but we try to keep it tidy enough to find things. The sign outside is a bit faded now. My neighbor says we should paint it, but we are usually too busy with the actual work to worry about the paint. It is just a regular local business doing its thing every day from morning until the sun goes down. Most of us have been here for years and we know the street like the back of our hands.
