Our company, Nandhishiv Impex P Ltd, is based in Haripad, which is in the Alappuzha district of Kerala. The office is located at Pramod Nivas, near the Kumarapuram post office. It is a beautiful part of the world to work in, with plenty of greenery and a much calmer atmosphere than the big cities. We handle import and export tasks from here. It is a family-style environment where things are done with care. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees; we are a dedicated group that works out of a building that feels more like a house than an office block. Kerala has its own way of doing things, and we fit right into that. Much of our day is spent on the phone or handling the specific documents needed for impex work. We deal with a lot of local products as well as things coming in from further away. Sometimes the monsoon rains make everything a bit difficult, but we just carry on. We don't have any scripted speeches about our values. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the shipments are handled properly. It is a quiet, steady kind of business.
