M/S.M.Saravana Constructions

M. Saravana Constructions is run from our place in Coimbatore, specifically in the Madukkarai area. The address is linked to Theresa’s house in Anbu Nagar, which gives it a very local and personal feel. We are not a giant company with a huge headquarters; it is more of a family-style operation where the work happens right where we live. Madukkarai is a bit away from the main Coimbatore city center, so it is a little quieter, though there is still plenty of construction and industry happening nearby. We have our tools and the site records kept in a small room that we use as our main office. Most of the day is spent out at the actual building sites, so the office is mainly for the early mornings or late evenings when we need to settle the accounts and plan for the next day's labor. The air in Coimbatore is usually a bit better than the bigger cities, but it still gets quite warm when we are out on the field. We take on various small and medium building jobs around this side of town. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or the materials not arriving on time, but that is just how the construction business goes. We just keep moving from one project to the next.
