We are located at S-Block No. 88 in the Ex-Servicemen Colony at Kovaipudur, Coimbatore. It’s a quiet area, which is a bit of a change from the noisy textile hubs. Our work is all about fabrics and threads. We’ve been doing this in Tamil Nadu for a long time. The building we work in is practical. It has space for our machines and a small area where we handle the orders. You can usually hear the sound of the looms if they are running. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to. We don't have a big sales team. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with people who know our work. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right dyes or the cotton prices go up, and we have to adjust. It’s just part of the textile trade. The office part of our building is usually cluttered with fabric swatches and shipping labels. We don't mind the mess. It means we have orders to fill. We drink a lot of local coffee and spend our days checking the quality of what comes off the machines. We aren't into fancy presentations. We just want to make sure the fabric is right before it goes out the door. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in Coimbatore, and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
