If you find yourself on Thiruvalluvar Street in Ambattur, you’ll see our place at Number 14. We are Mgm Group Of Companies. This part of Chennai, specifically Venkateswara Nagar, is always buzzing with activity. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machinery nearby. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have been here since we started. The humidity in Chennai-53 can be quite something, especially in May, so we have the fans running at full speed all day long. We deal with various tasks across our group, so one day we might be talking about logistics and the next it’s something entirely different. It’s a bit of a mix. We don’t have a fancy reception area. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a pile of papers. We’ve known the people on this street for years. The small shop next door makes the best coffee, and that’s where you’ll find most of us around eleven in the morning. We don't try to act like a big corporate entity even though the name says "Group of Companies." We’re just a bunch of people working out of an old building in Ambattur. It’s practical and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do every day.
