Merrie Berrie

Merrie Berrie is located at A - 8/6 Vattakinar Thottam, just west of the ITI near G.N Mills. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads of Coimbatore, which we actually prefer. We are a small setup that works on making our food products. It’s not a huge factory with conveyor belts everywhere; it is more like a large kitchen where we prepare things carefully. We started this because we wanted to do something local and simple. Most of our days are spent checking ingredients and making sure the batches come out tasting right. We have a few people from the neighborhood who help us out with the packing and the cleaning. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy when we have a lot of orders to fill for the local shops. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that, so we just rely on people trying our stuff and telling their friends if they like it. Sometimes we run out of stock or have trouble getting the right packaging, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a modest business and we aren't trying to take over the market; we just enjoy being part of the local community near the mills and making something that people enjoy eating or drinking.
