Megha Hand Crop

We are located at number 20 in Barathi Garden, which is part of the Papanaickenpalayam area in Kanuvaai. It is a nice enough spot, a bit away from the real heavy city traffic which is a relief. At Megha Hand Crop, we spend most of our time dealing with hand-worked items. It is the kind of work that takes a lot of patience and can be quite tiring on the eyes after a few hours. The garden area makes it a bit more peaceful than a regular industrial site. We have a few benches set up where we sit and do the main work. Sometimes birds get into the workspace, or it gets a bit windy, but we just keep going. We aren’t a huge operation, just a small group of people who know how to handle the materials. Most of the people working here live close by, so we all know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. It feels more like a community than a business sometimes. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. If you come by, you'll just see us working in our regular clothes. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread or whatever we are using that day. It is just honest work and we try to do it right without overcomplicating things. That is just our way of doing things here in Kanuvaai. It works for us.
