Mayura And Co is a small business operating out of Sakthi Nagar, right by G.N Mills. We have our setup at number 15, which is a quiet enough street most of the time. The area around the mills has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. Our space is divided between a small front area and a larger back room where we keep most of our materials. It’s nothing fancy, just some sturdy shelves and a few workbenches that have seen better days. We do a lot of our thinking over a cup of tea in the morning before the real work starts. The guys here have a lot of experience, and we don't really need to follow a strict manual for everything we do. We just know how things should look when they’re finished. Sometimes the weather gets really humid, which makes the work a bit slower, but we just keep at it. We’ve known the families in Sakthi Nagar for a long time, so it feels like working among friends. We don't spend money on big advertisements; people usually just hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a simple way to run a shop, and it works for us. We just want to do a decent job and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s an honest living in a good neighborhood, and we are happy staying right where we are.
